Qualitative Insights

MTM Consulting’s effective and friendly qualitative researchers find out what your parents, staff and the wider population really think about your organisation.  The results of this research can help you to improve recruitment and increase the school roll as well as minimise student attrition and improve retention.

Qualitative research services include:

  • Parent Satisfaction Surveys
  • Non-Joiner Surveys
  • Early Leaver Surveys

By using third-party researchers, you are more likely to find out the unvarnished truth about views and attitudes towards your organisation and what it provides. Our friendly, experienced researchers gently question respondents and give them the opportunity to share their views.

MTM offers a suite of qualitative research approaches (some of which are listed below), the most suitable approach would be designed through collaboration between MTM and our client, ensuring it effectively met the project objectives. All of our research is totally customisable, and we are happy to create and suggest the most appropriate approach to meet our client’s needs and budget. MTM’s qualitative research is realistically priced in relation to education organisations’ budgets, and we also offer subscription packages and the opportunity to spread payments over time.

Here’s MTM’s Qualitative Research Consultant Kate Siddall to explain how qualitative research can tell you what current, past and potential future parents, as well as students and staff, think of your school or other education provider, and how instrumental this insight can be to your organisation’s continued success.

MTM Non-joiners

Why did some families not join? Why did they go elsewhere?

MTM Early leavers

What were the factors that caused families to leave before a natural transition point? What could your organisation have done to keep them?

MTM Parent Satisfaction

How satisfied are parents? What is your organisation doing well, and not so well? How can you improve?
