What our clients say about MTM… featured image

At the end of last year we bravely asked our clients to tell us – honestly – what they thought of their experience with MTM. And they told us! We were very pleased to hear that they had found the results of our work with them to be useful, but we were also happy to take on board suggestions as to how we could make our products and services even more beneficial.

Our clients told us that the biggest challenges of 2020 unsurprisingly related to the impact of the global pandemic – principally the effort and ingenuity needed to move marketing and admissions activities online. However, the perennial quest to recruit more students, particularly organically, converting enquiries to registrations and preparing for future changes in the market also weighed on the minds of our respondents.

70% market research

To help, 70% of our respondents engaged MTM to carry out market research – 90% catchment analysis (MTM 3-60) and 10% wider market research. 15% undertook a parental survey, while the remaining 15% called on MTM’s marketing strategy and planning expertise.

All the information they needed

Every one of the clients who took part in our survey said that they had received all the information they needed as the result of their completed MTM project, with 80% describing the quality of output, as well as value for money, as ‘good’ or ‘very good’.

‘Really know their stuff’

The best part of working with MTM for our respondents was overwhelmingly the knowledge and character of the MTM team, who, they said, ‘really know their stuff’ and are ‘easy to communicate with’.

Also praised were MTM’s straightforward pricing, attention to clients, and clear and understandable reports.

Next steps

A small number of our clients mentioned that they would like more guidance on the next steps to take to make the most of the findings of their market research projects, so our reports now include more specific recommendations for further actions. We have also recently expanded our team to enable us to offer greater expertise in education marketing and business, as well as international development.

Several respondents told us that they appreciate all of MTM’s services and their only regret is that they don’t have enough budget to make more use of them all!
